| i haven't been on here i too long. first it was derby and then it was facebook. I will post more often because i fell like i have lost touch with my very best friend by not being on here to update and i miss her. i read a lot. so, i end up with tons of books and only keep and pack aroud the really good ones. lots are very good, but not treasuring material. so ihave often just left them on the bus or at the airport or where ever for someone else to enjoy. i had thought i heard of a registration service for this somehwere, but my mind, she's not so good these last few years (i found 21 to be rough...) anyway long story short, reading the reader's digest like a good little canadian, i found www.bookcrossing.com and signed right up. i love the concept of tracking your left books. makes me happy in a dark dark time. | | |

| here i sit at a looong visitation. it is getting late and i want to go home. remember in the last post how i was whining about not being in shape? well, i am now in a boot camp style training, every morning at 530. i cannot explain how uncool this is. but i just keep thinking about my long term goal......long key word. i went home to saskatchewan this weekend to see my dad and mom. dad wants me to marry lyndon! | | |
| the rcmp thing is stressful- i am so not in the physical shape i need to be in but with work all the time i have a hard time getting tot he gym, and now i am sick.....and i am the queen of excuses. i like being at the gym i just hate getting there. this week i have been good though dad is great. they said that even after his stroke he had better motor skills than most people his age prior to a stroke, and that he is perfect now. he does not want to leave the rehab place becuase the meals are better. i am going home later this month to see him and carol. roller derby is alright. for all these people that think they are different and unique, htey sure buy a lot of skull emblazoned crap from walmart..... beck, you need to come up here. we can go anywhere you want. will be so fun!!! but i'd rahter go to montana. or florida. | | |
